[Sichuan Cooking Class Report]
We held a KISSA cooking class at the East Center on December 13th. 😄
Instructor Yun👨 taught us Sichuan cuisine🇨🇳 from his hometown.
We made green pepper and pork stir-fry and hiyayakko (cold tofu), which we all enjoyed with warm rice. 😋
All the participants were thrilled to see how easy it was to make authentic Chinese food using Japanese ingredients! ️
[KISSA Michikusa-ichi Report]
The Nepalese community living in Koganei City also participated in the Honcho Michikusa-ichi on Saturday, December 20th. The highlight of the event was Nepalese dance, performed by junior and senior high school students in traditional costumes, leaving the audience mesmerized.
For food, everyone enjoyed Nepalese dishes such as jolmomo and paratha paired with chai.
It was a very meaningful event that deepened interactions between local residents.
